Friday Recap
This Friday reminded us how closely joy and sorrow walk together. In the midst of loss, sickness, and injury, we continued the work set before us, planting, serving, and gathering with local youth. We are grateful for every prayer lifted for John’s family, Miguel’s brother, and Adita as we trust God in the middle of it all.
Week three EXPECTATION
Kicking off Monday with a plan and a purpose. From finishing the garden to setting up kitchen shelves and preparing material lists for upcoming mission teams, today is all about getting ready for what’s ahead and trusting God in the work before us.
Week Two Recap
Week two reminded us that plans are optional, but purpose is not. What started as a simple schedule turned into full days of unexpected doors opening, new partnerships forming, and tangible hope being planted, both in the soil and in people’s lives. From Shipyard to Caledonia, we watched God redirect every step for something better than we imagined.
Week One Recap
Week one with True Belize reminded us that ministry doesn’t always follow a checklist. What we thought would be a week of construction and setup turned into shared meals, celebrations, and time with people who already feel like family. Between an authentic tamale cookout, a birthday celebration, and finishing the van and kitchen, we saw how quickly plans can shift and how much richer they can become when community comes first.
