week Eleven Recap

This week didn’t exactly go how we originally planned, but it turned into something really special. We went into the week expecting a lot of paperwork, time on calls, and preparing for Compassion Belize to arrive, along with starting and hopefully finishing a house in Concepcion.

Monday was focused on paperwork, but it was also a highlight as we had a wonderful call with a young lady from Mississippi. Tuesday brought more paperwork along with some light farm work, keeping us moving and productive in different ways.

By Wednesday, Compassion Belize arrived in town, and everything began to shift into action. Thursday, we officially started building the house in Concepcion and were able to get all the walls up, which was an incredible milestone in just one day. Then on Friday, we pushed through and got the roof on, bringing the home even closer to completion.

We wrapped up the week on a meaningful note, feeling grateful to be invited to the Chan Chen Fun Day on Sunday. It was a great time of community, connection, and celebration after a full and rewarding week.
