week Ten Recap

This week was full of travel, projects, and some great time with the community.

On Monday we were able to clean up the job site in Caledonia and finish the plumbing work there. We also made a quick trip into town for Kaydence’s birthday shopping and stopped by a new project house in Concepcion to check in on the progress.

Tuesday we met with Fidelia and were introduced to three families in Caledonia. Later in the day we were able to get back out to Jacob’s Farm and spend some time there as well.

Wednesday took us to Belize City where we met Miguel for an eye appointment. We were also able to provide him with 600 pounds of beans for him to sell. Afterward we met Adrian for lunch, from The Project Belize, for lunch.

Thursday was a day for catching up on practical things. We were able to get the grocery shopping done and finally get the internet fixed.

Friday we headed back out to Caledonia where we had lunch with Fidelia and her husband. Compassion Belize also hosted a clothing drive, and we were grateful to be there and help alongside them.

Saturday we wrapped up the week celebrating Kaydence’s birthday with the youth kids.

It was a full week of work, ministry, and community, and we’re thankful for all the ways we were able to connect with people and continue the projects in Caledonia and beyond.
