Week Eight Recap
This week was full, busy, and such a blessing from start to finish!
We went into the week planning to make tamales, install tire gardens, retort can beans, host an appreciation dinner, celebrate a house dedication, work on the truck registration, and prepare for Phil’s group.
Monday we made tamales and delivered eight tire gardens to families in the community.
Tuesday we retort canned 30 pounds of beans, delivered more tire gardens, and hosted a special appreciation dinner that evening.
Wednesday we delivered bunk beds to three families and onions to Oscar. We finished installing the remaining tire gardens and celebrated a beautiful house dedication.
Thursday we were able to get the truck registration completed and delivered mattresses to families in need.
Friday we had a great visit with Rafi to go over plans for the next group. We also picked up doors, windows, and solar lights for Crissy Len’s house.
Saturday we headed into Corozal to pick up materials for Caledonia, then started setting posts for the new house there. Rosendo and his crew were also able to get the foundation laid — such exciting progress!
God continues to provide strength, teamwork, and opportunities to serve. We’re grateful for every person who makes weeks like this possible.
