A Life of Faith, Service, and Kingdom Work
To say that Rafi is “known” is truly an understatement. From the Corozal District to across Belize, this man of God has dedicated his life to serving, helping, and living out the life of Christ. Rafi has been a cornerstone for countless brothers and sisters, mission teams, and outreach groups from across the United States — a living example of faith in action.
But behind every strong man of God is a woman of incredible faith, and that woman is Desi. She is the backbone, the heart, and the care behind all that Rafi does. There is nothing this woman wouldn’t do for others — tending to people, projects, and prayer with the same devotion she gives her family and community.
We first met Rafi and Desi back in January, and from the moment we connected, we were inspired by their vision and heart for the Lord. On that first trip, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to help expand and grow Rafi’s Farm. Together, we prayed, planned, and trusted God for the journey ahead — little did we know how the Holy Spirit would multiply it twentyfold.
By the time we returned to Belize this past summer, we were blessed to witness a tangible outpouring of God’s provision through our church family in the U.S. and other generous supporters. With their help, we were able to build onto the farm, creating the canning kitchen and laying the foundation for a whole new adventure.
Today, Rafi’s Farm serves as the outpost for the True Belize Mission. Lord willing, this will also be our home — a base for community, discipleship, and service. From the canning kitchen to the gardens, fruit stands, job opportunities for women, and youth ministry programs, this outpost is already becoming a hub for transformation and hope.
Rafi and Desi’s long-held prayer has always been to see this place “used for His Kingdom” — and we are so honored and blessed to witness it and play even a small part in God’s incredible plan. Every seed planted, every meal prepared, and every life touched here is a testament to what happens when hearts are surrendered and faith is followed.
True Belize is just beginning, and Rafi and Desi’s partnership reminds us daily that with God, all things are possible.
