Preserving Goodness and Providing Hope
“Give us this day our daily bread.” — Matthew 6:11
At True Belize, our Canning Kitchen is more than a workspace — it’s a ministry of provision, purpose, and partnership. Every grain of rice, every bag of beans, every scoop of plantain flour tells a story of God’s goodness and the hands He uses to multiply it.
We believe in using what the land provides and preserving it to feed families, strengthen communities, and create sustainable opportunities for those in need.
Through local rice, bean, and plantain flour production, we’re helping build a stronger Belize:
Rice Production — Partnering with local farmers to harvest and process nutrient-rich Belizean rice, ensuring families and churches have access to affordable, homegrown food.
Bean Production — Growing, cleaning, and canning red and black beans to provide a reliable protein source while empowering local workers through hands-on jobs and training.
Plantain Flour Production — Transforming locally grown plantains into a nourishing, gluten-free flour — a sustainable staple that supports both health and economic independence.
Our goal is to create a full circle of blessing — from farmer to family, from seed to table — led by the heart of Jesus and sustained by the hands of His people.
Here, faith and food come together to nourish both body and soul.
