Week One Recap

Week one with True Belize didn’t go exactly how we planned… and honestly, that made it even better. 🤍
We set out to extend the roof, unpack the van, and get the kitchen ready. Instead, we kicked things off with a big, authentic tamale cookout, got invited to celebrate the birthday of one of Rafi’s nephews, and spent meaningful time with people who already feel like family.

In the middle of all that, the van did get unpacked and the kitchen did come together. More importantly, we were incredibly blessed with new friendships, shared meals, and moments we’ll carry with us.

Grateful for flexibility, community, and a week full of unexpected joy. 🇧🇿🤍
