Friday Recap

This week held both heavy moments and reminders of why we’re here.

We ask for prayers for Rafi and his family as his brother John unfortunately passed away this week. Please also keep Miguel’s family in prayer as his brother Pedro was found unconscious on the side of the road. Our caretaker here at the farm, Jorge, introduced us to a woman named Adita who severely broke her arm while changing a light. We are lifting her up as well.

Despite the difficult news, work continued. Miguel, his sons, and two friends finished burning the field in preparation for planting beans. We were able to get some work done in the garden and hosted about 10 kids for a youth activity, where we spent time together and talked about Noah’s wife.
